A health-focused registered training organisation. Long-standing, well-regarded, with just over 300 products on its live scope — the kind of provider that has been quietly doing good work for decades. Their registration renewal date was under three months away when we looked.
What the register knew
Two training products on their live scope had been superseded, and for both of them the national register flags the replacement as not equivalent — the update that involves real work: mapping, gap training, evidence.

Read that first line again. A nursing diploma, superseded more than ten years ago, still sitting on a live scope. Not hidden — published, in a public register, every single day of those ten years. The register knew. The register always knows.
Why nobody noticed
Because noticing is nobody's job. The register doesn't ring you when a product on your scope is superseded, and the flag that matters most — whether the replacement is equivalent or not — sits two clicks deeper than anyone goes. Providers find out when someone happens to look: an audit, a new staff member, an email like ours.
This is not a story about a careless provider. With 300+ products on scope, a change to any one of them is a needle in a haystack that moves every week. It's a story about a register that publishes everything and tells no one.
What happened next
We sent the CEO one email with their numbers — the same numbers you see here, each one checkable against the register. The reply came back the same morning, asking to talk about their scope.
That reply is the whole thesis of Register Radar: providers don't ignore this information. They just never had it.
What this case does NOT say
A superseded product on scope is a fact of the register, not a finding about anyone's conduct — transition arrangements vary by product and circumstances, and judging them is a regulator's job, not ours.
Scope also isn't enrolments: how many learners are actually sitting in a superseded product is visible only in the provider's own student management system. That's why the enrolment cross runs entirely in your browser — your file never reaches us.
