Item 14

For an RTO registered by ASQA, nobody may be allowed to commence training and assessment in NAT10987002 today. training.gov.au lists it as Non-current, and s 14(2) of the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Compliance Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and Fit and Proper Person Requirements) Instrument 2025 (F2025L00355, in force 1 July 2025) requires the organisation to ensure it does not allow individuals to commence training and assessment in a training product that has expired, been removed or deleted from the National Register. s 14(2) carries no transition period of its own and no date to compute, and the “unless otherwise approved by the National VET Regulator” opening sits in s 14(1) only. It governs starts, not learners already enrolled: s 14(2) sets no date of its own for them, and s 14(1)(b) and (c) count from removal or deletion from the register — this product is still listed, and no such date is shown here. RTOs registered by VRQA in Victoria or by the TAC in Western Australia are not covered by it.

Is NAT10987002 on your scope?

This page is the register's record of one product. What it cannot tell you is whether NAT10987002 sits on your own scope today, or what else on that scope has moved without anyone noticing. Enter your RTO number and we read every product on your live scope against training.gov.au and tell you which ones are superseded and which replacements the register flags not equivalent.

Public code, nothing else. We read your live scope from training.gov.au and answer here — we keep neither the code nor the answer; what remains is the two-minute abuse counter described on our privacy page.

Whether a supersession requires anything of you, and what, sits with you and your regulator. This page maps what the register records; it does not make that judgement. If the difference between an equivalent and a non-equivalent replacement is the question, we wrote it up in equivalent vs not equivalent.

Source: this product on training.gov.au, Australia's national training register — or go straight to the units it requires. The rule itself is item 14 of F2025L00355, and ASQA publishes the extensions it has granted. Read on 14 October 2026 UTC. Every code, title, date, status and equivalence flag on this page is the register's; nothing here is estimated or inferred, and where the register publishes nothing we say so.
