NWP545B Implement and manage water treatment processes monitoring program

Item 14

The one year of s 14(1)(c), counted from the date this product was removed from the National Register, ended before the instrument commenced on 1 July 2025 — so no completion date is shown here: the instrument imposes nothing before that day.

For an RTO registered by ASQA, nobody may be allowed to commence training and assessment in NWP545B today. training.gov.au lists it as Deleted, and s 14(2) of the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Compliance Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and Fit and Proper Person Requirements) Instrument 2025 (F2025L00355, in force 1 July 2025) requires the organisation to ensure it does not allow individuals to commence training and assessment in a training product that has expired, been removed or deleted from the National Register. s 14(2) carries no transition period of its own and no date to compute, and the “unless otherwise approved by the National VET Regulator” opening sits in s 14(1) only. It governs starts, not learners already enrolled: s 14(2) sets no date of its own for them — their completion period under s 14(1)(b)/(c) is stated separately on this page. RTOs registered by VRQA in Victoria or by the TAC in Western Australia are not covered by it.

Sector-wide: the item 14 cut-off, measured across every live scope · the repealed 12-month rule

The status above is the one training.gov.au records for NWP545B, written exactly as the register writes it. It is not one of the three we put into words, so we leave it in the register's own terms.

Is NWP545B on your scope?

This page is the register's record of one product. What it cannot tell you is whether NWP545B sits on your own scope today, or what else on that scope has moved without anyone noticing. Enter your RTO number and we read every product on your live scope against training.gov.au and tell you which ones are superseded and which replacements the register flags not equivalent.

Public code, nothing else. We read your live scope from training.gov.au and answer here — we keep neither the code nor the answer; what remains is the two-minute abuse counter described on our privacy page.

Whether a supersession requires anything of you, and what, sits with you and your regulator. This page maps what the register records; it does not make that judgement. If the difference between an equivalent and a non-equivalent replacement is the question, we wrote it up in equivalent vs not equivalent.

Where NWP545B is used

training.gov.au lists NWP545B inside 1 training product, which it no longer lists as current. It is below, with the register's own core or elective flag for NWP545B in that product.

Products no longer current 1 listed

The register still records NWP545B inside this one, but it no longer recommends it as current. It is here because a scope history or an old enrolment can still point at it.

Source: this product on training.gov.au, Australia's national training register — or go straight to the units it requires. The rule itself is item 14 of F2025L00355, and ASQA publishes the extensions it has granted. Read on 14 October 2026 UTC. Every code, title, date, status and equivalence flag on this page is the register's; nothing here is estimated or inferred, and where the register publishes nothing we say so.
