All enrolled learners must complete and be certified by 16 March 2028 — two years from the date it was removed from the National Register (s 14(1)(b), F2025L00355), unless ASQA has approved otherwise.

For an RTO registered by ASQA, nobody may be allowed to commence training and assessment in AUM20118 today. training.gov.au lists it as Deleted, and s 14(2) of the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Compliance Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and Fit and Proper Person Requirements) Instrument 2025 (F2025L00355, in force 1 July 2025) requires the organisation to ensure it does not allow individuals to commence training and assessment in a training product that has expired, been removed or deleted from the National Register. s 14(2) carries no transition period of its own and no date to compute, and the “unless otherwise approved by the National VET Regulator” opening sits in s 14(1) only. It governs starts, not learners already enrolled: s 14(2) sets no date of its own for them — their completion period under s 14(1)(b)/(c) is stated separately on this page. RTOs registered by VRQA in Victoria or by the TAC in Western Australia are not covered by it.
